PERSONAL NUTRITION SESSIONS

Individual Personal Sessions are available to specifically help an individual with their personal goals when it comes to Nutrition. Some examples of who needs Nutritional Support:

  • Individuals with weight loss goals (Goal setting, how to stay accountable, how to keep food portions in control, how to battle emotional eating, shopping, restaurants, party tips)
  • Individuals wanting a healthier lifestyle (How to put together balanced meals, food for disease prevention, importance of minerals and vitamins, importance of fiber)
  • Families (How to plan meals for busy lifestyles, how to teach your children to eat well)
  • Individuals wanting better performance (Now nutrition affects your workout goals with vitamins, minerals and supplementation)
  • Pregnant women (How nutrition affects you and your baby, how to gain the proper amount of weight)
  • Individuals with Diabetes (Controlling diabetes)

Kelly Drew

Kelly is a Dietetics Major with a Bachelor of Science from Mount Mary University. She became interested in dietetics when she learned she could positively impact someone’s overall wellness as well as physical performance through nutrition. Kelly has several years of experience working in hospital settings in which she assisted patients with managing and preventing a variety of chronic diseases. She has also worked for a wellness clinic specializing in weight management with an emphasis on integrative nutrition and holistic techniques. Outside of the gym, Kelly works in corporate wellness in a coaching capacity. She stays abreast of the latest research by meeting continuing education requirements to maintain her credentials. Kelly brings to the club: menu development, individualized plans, and coaching on sustainable food and lifestyle changes. In addition to being a Registered Dietitian, Kelly is a Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and teaches Impact at the club. She is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and has completed several runs including Tough Mudder. Kelly is driven to live a healthy life for herself and is motivated by her husband and her children. It is her dream to assist others in achieving health outcomes by emphasizing the partnership that is nutrition and physical activity.

  • I joined about four months ago for two years to start. I had used the facility about three years ago for physical therapy with UW so I knew what to expect. Three times a week I go to swim classes in the early mornings, do my physical therapy in the resistance pool ahead of time and enjoy the whirlpool after my classes. When the weather cools down I will add some walking and perhaps a yoga class to my schedule. I like meeting new friends and knowing that every time I go there will be friendly faces to greet me and EXCELLENT trainers leading my classes. Before I joined I had mentally committed to the membership. Now I am physically committed! Thank you, Princeton Club!
