James was a competitive swimmer in all four years of high school and made the switch to weight lifting and strength training during his 2 years in the Navy and has continued ever since. 

James enjoys helping people understand and practice the importance of sticking to the basics and building a great foundation for a strong and capable body. Over the past year, from young kids to elderly folks he has worked on a large spectrum of people to reach their goals as well as understand the importance of dedicating consistent time in the gym with the best attitude, effort, and application to reach the best results.

While he’s not training people or paying his own dues in the gym, James spends his spare time working on developing animations based off of his story writing, sketching, as well as experimenting with different wine/mead recipes.
